Hey Jazz fans! My name is Nikki and here is the inside scoop about me! As soon as I could walk, I was dancing. I have always been very eager to learn and would take every opportunity to expose myself to the many different styles of dance. Growing up, I was a part of many teams: studio competition teams, high school drill, and the University of Utah Crimson Line. Go Utes!
What I love most about dancing for this organization is the lifelong friendships I’ve made. We share the passion of dance and the love of the Utah Jazz. I have two passions in life. One is dance and the other is helping others. Being a Jazz Dancer, we have many opportunities to go out in the community and make a difference. Some of my favorite appearances include: The Special Olympics, Primary Children’s Hospital, and visits to the Veterans Hospital.
One of my goals in life is to become a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. At this time, I am working as a nurse in a behavioral health setting and I absolutely love it! There is never a dull moment in a psychiatric facility! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, sewing, exercising, and spending time with my family and friends, and especially my two adorable puppies!
I am now entering my seventh season as a Utah Jazz Dancer and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about the 2012-2013 season! Big things are coming and I can’t wait! I love the excitement of the game and the thrill of dancing for the BEST FANS in the NBA!
