I was born March 5, 1993 in Magna Utah. I began my dance training at the age of five at Tip Toe Dance Studio, where I competed and trained in numerous styles of dance for 10 years. I continued my dance training at Colette’s Dancing School. As a teenager I attended Cyprus High School where I was President of the Cyprus High School Drill Team, Dance Sterling Scholar, 5A AllState Drill Team Member and a recipient of three Athletic Letters in Drill Team. After graduation I made the University of Utah Dance Team where I had the opportunity of dancing at numerous football and basketball games. Go Ute’s!
I’m currently a sophomore at The University of Utah where I study Communications. I’m employed with Team Nash Insurance, where I assist small companies with health, dental, vision or life insurance. I’ve been a dance instructor for two years; I enjoy sharing love for dance with my energetic students, while helping them grow as dancers. When I’m not dancing I enjoy working out, snowboarding, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I’m a part of a huge family; four sisters and one brother.
This is my first year as a Jazz Dancer, which has been the most amazing opportunity. I really enjoy being on the basketball court and sharing my love for dance with the audience, there is no greater feeling. I’m so grateful for all of my teammates, being able to have twenty girls to relate to and share amazing experiences with. I couldn’t be more thankful to be part of such a great organization like the Utah Jazz. I look forward to continuing my dance career and cannot wait to see what the future brings. Dancing has become my most prized possession.
